Chicago O'Hare

Chicago O’Hare International Airport opened on January 1, 1950. O’Hare quickly became the airport of choice, over Chicago’s, Midway airport. Between the years of 1958 and 1962, O’Hare had taken over 75% of the airline flights per year from Midway. Today, O’Hare has close to 200 arriving and departing flights every hour. American Airlines has made O’Hare one of its homes.
